Len Krause --- President and Chief Technical Officer Len Krause began his computer career in high school stacking punch cards in IBM unit record equipment, and developing a tic-tac-toe game you played against the computer. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron. In 1974 he started Computer/Dynamics, Inc., with his father, Leonard L. Krause. They sold refrigerator sized, multi-user, CRT based, mini-computers called Basic/Four. Frustrated by the lack of available software at the time, Len began development of Dynamo, a comprehensive software package designed to help people run their business, and has continued to expand and improve Dynamo ever since. In 2002, Len founded Excellware to continue the work of Computer/Dynamics. Len is the chief architect of Excellware's software products including Dynamo, Dynamo Tools (software tools & building blocks), Dynaweb (Dynamo for the web), and Dynascan (Dynamo for portable computers used for inventory control). The father of college-aged boy-girl twins, Len and his wife Debra live in North Royalton. Len is active in a variety of volunteer capacities at his church, and plays golf each week during Daylight Savings Time. If you've played with Len, you know why he won't be quitting his day job anytime soon. |
